Arc’teryx Procline Comp Jacket
Ski alpinism demands a versatility of performance characteristics. During intense, technical ascents, the benefits of wearing softshell cannot be overrated. But challenging ski descents require wind and weather protection. The Procline Comp Jacket uses Arc’teryx Composite Mapping to combine weatherproof, breathable GORE® Fabric Technology for zonal waterproof protection in areas most exposed to the cooling effects of moisture with Fortius™ 1.0 softshell material where heat transfer and stretch are required. The result is a composite that means ski alpinists can move quickly, conserve energy and economize on weight.
Arc’teryx Beta LT Jacket (Men’s)
The most packable and supple jacket in the Arc’teryx Essentials collection; constructed using GORE-TEX® with Paclite technology in the main body, and reinforced with GORE-TEX® with 3L tricot technology in high wear areas.
A highly versatile GORE-TEX® shell that effectively combines lightweight packability with emergency weather protection. Body mapped to put the right material in the right place, GORE-TEX® fabric with Paclite technology is used in the main body to minimize weight and increase packability. Key wear areas utilize 3L GORE-TEX® with tricot technology to boost durability. The DropHood™ pulls snug for increased visibility; WaterTight™ zippers minimize material use and create a streamlined profile.
MAPPING FOR DURABILITY
High wear areas are reinforced with hardwearing textiles at abrasion points and high stress areas. The Beta LT Hybrid Jacket puts N40p GORE-TEX® 3L with tricot technology at the shoulders and under the arms, areas particularly vulnerable to wear from pack straps.
MAPPING TO REDUCE WEIGHT
N40r GORE-TEX® fabric with Paclite product technology weighs a mere 3.4 oz/yd2 (114g/m2). Used in the jacket body to shave grams without sacrificing weather protection, this waterproof/breathable, incredibly light nylon fabric utilizes a mini ripstop construction for increased tear strength.
DESIGNED FOR FREEDOM
Anatomical shaping and ergonomic patterning combine for fit, comfort and maximum mobility. Gussets under the arms to allow the arm to flex without the sleeve riding up, and the cleverly designed DropHood™ cinches securely to move with the head, increasing freedom and peripheral visibility. This attention to freedom of movement is a focal point of the Arc’teryx commitment to highly functional design.
Arc’teryx Incendo Hoody
A minimalist jacket with a highly functional hood, the Incendo is created for cycling, mountain training and running in marginal weather. Made from hyperlight Lumin™ fabric, the Incendo resists wind and water with a level of air permeability that aids evaporative cooling. A DWR treatment elevates water resistance, and mesh underarm panels provide ventilation. Arc’teryx Composite Mapping technology strategically places the mesh and Lumin™ fabrics to provide the most effective balance of protection and climate management.
Arc’teryx Atom LT Hoody (Men’s)
This trim hybrid hoody is designed as an active-use insulation layer, providing vital core warmth with liberal mobility and breathability. Lightweight and compressible, the Atom LT Hoody features Coreloft™ insulation in the torso, arms and hood. The side panels and underarms feature Polartec® Power Stretch® with Hardface® Technology, delivering stretch mobility and breathability. A wind and moisture resistant outer shell extends stand-alone usability.
Fact: Every person at Head Office owns at least one Atom LT; most of the women have two.
The reason: Coreloft™ insulation inside a light taffeta shell. All the comfort of a sleeping bag, but it feels weightless.
The benefit of taffeta fabrics is their light, airy nature with an ability to turn aside wind. The Atom series have a taffeta outer lining that is treated with DWR (durable water resistant) finish to give them a long-lasting ability to shed moisture. In light precipitation, the Atom LT can be worn as an outer layer.
Mid layers that can function as outer layers have varied degrees of weather shedding capability; they also have varied degrees of moisture management. In addition to being made of breathable Coreloft™ insulation, the Atom LT has breathable side panels of Polartec® Power Stretch® with Hardface™ technology to help regulate temperature during exertion.
Highly compressible, Atom pieces pack down into a tiny parcel of stored warmth. Store the jacket inside its own pocket, or tuck it into a sleeve or inside the hood if you are not restricted by space. A quick shake restores the original loft, time and again.
Arc’teryx Procline FL Pants
Specifically designed to meet the varied demands of ski alpinism, the Procline FL Pants provide performance and freedom for rigorous ascents and technical descents. The Burly™ Double Weave softshell is rugged and weather resistant, but still delivers the performance stretch and air permeability necessary for comfort on steep, technical climbs. The Arc’teryx Trim fit employs a straight leg that minimizes bulk for a clear line of sight to the feet. The fit also keeps the material close to the body to help maximize moisture transfer while leaving room for light thermal layering. Aggressive articulation is built in, a requirement particularly necessary on challenging ascents and steep ski descents, and includes a stretch gusset made from highly breathable Fortius 1.0 softshell for next level comfort and freedom.
Arc’teryx Cita Hoody (Women’s)
A trim fitting, minimalist, 115 g (4.1 oz.) hoody with built in ventilation, the Cita is designed for high output mountain training. The Cita is constructed from Lumin™, a performance fabric that is incredibly light, tear resistant, and balances wind resistance with air permeable comfort. A DWR (durable water repellant) treatment is added to help shed light precipitation. The motion friendly trim fit is patterned specifically for women, delivering a streamlined silhouette with room for a moisture wicking next-to-skin layer. Articulation in the sleeves elevates freedom of movement.
CONFIDENCE BY DESIGN
Features are built in, seamlessly functioning with the jacket to maximize performance, reduce weight and bulk, and enhance comfort. The Cita stuffs into its own compact pocket so it’s easy to pack and carry. Mesh underarm panels vent perspiration, the drop back hem provides increased coverage, and the low profile collar seals out the weather without chafing or restricting movement. The small fitted hood adds extra protection, rolls out of the way and secures with a snap when not in use.
Arc’teryx Arenite Jacket (Women’s)
The warmest fleece jacket in the Arc’teryx Essentials collection, the Arenite is an effective midlayer in cold conditions and functions as a standalone in cool, dry situations. The Cobblecomb™ fleece has a lofty backer that provides soft, effective insulation, and a durable twill face that resists pilling and reduces friction and binding under a shell. Combining the warmth and moisture wicking properties of polyester with the stretch performance of elastane fibers, Cobblecomb™ delivers effective thermal regulation with freedom of movement.
SIMPLICITY in DESIGN
Designing for versatility without compromising a minimalist results in a design that is focused on intended use, with features that are purpose-driven and lean. The taller collar has a snug, but not binding, fit that seals out drafts and layers comfortably under a shell. The full length front zipper makes it easy to get on and off, and can be unzipped with a single hand for immediate ventilation. Two hand pockets stow essentials.
FIT to MOVE
Purposeful design is an Arc’teryx commitment. Concentrating on athletic freedom and performance, the Arenite is specifically patterned for the female athlete in motion. The Arc’teryx Athletic fit keeps the jacket close to the body in order to optimize breathability and moisture transfer. Articulation and anatomic patterning combine with gusseting under the arms to provide exceptional ergonomic performance. When worn under an Arc’teryx shell, the fit and articulation align to help create an entire system designed to move with the body.
Arc’teryx Vertices Hoody (Women’s)
A cold weather base layer, the Vertices Hoody is made from air permeable, moisture wicking Torrent™ polyester blend fabric to deliver performance stretch and effective thermal regulation.
FIT TO MOVE
The balaclava style hood easily fits over the head and under a helmet, and the trim fitted, straight cut torso has a wide hem that hugs the core. Sleeves are lean throughout, and a laminated pocket on the chest stores essentials. Articulated patterning and gusseted underarms add freedom of movement.
Arc’teryx Cerium LT Hoody (Women’s)
PUTTING DOWN WHERE IT COUNTS
Strategic placement of synthetic and down insulation has Coreloft™ synthetic insulation, that retains warmth when wet, placed along the hem, collar, sleeves and underarms— areas prone to contact with moisture. 850 fill European white goose down lines the core and sleeves where warmth is most needed.
SEALING THE WORLD OUT
The adjustable low profile down insulated StormHood™ makes sure the drafts stay outside, so you can do the same. DWR finish repels moisture so don’t be afraid of being caught in light precipitation
Streamlined and lightweight, the Cerium LT down hoody is filled with 850 white goose down and is intended as a mid layer or standalone piece in cool, dry conditions. A three part sleeve moves freely and keeps a low profile.
Specialized construction: light, elasticized hem; three part sleeve; binding finishes and superior craftsmanship are the thoughtful attention to detail that allows the use of stronger fabrics that can stand up to everyday use.
As an alternative to down fill insulation, we also offer synthetic fill products, such as the Atom LT Hoody.
