Arc’teryx Khamski 31 Backpack
The Khamski 31 is sized and equipped for a day of ski alpinism or touring. The large main compartment is easily accessed, and has a full length side portal for quick entry while in transit. The suspension and construction carry and ski comfortably. The lean contoured back panel keeps the load close to the body for a more stable ride, a polyethylene framesheet provides support with flexibility, and dual aluminum M-bar stays help direct and distribute the load for extended comfort and improved balance while minimally impacting freedom of movement. Shoulder straps mold to the body, and a lightweight webbing belt helps minimizes sway. Skis can be carried diagonally across the back or A-framed on the sides, snowboards ride vertically. The lash straps are designed to easily pull the skis exceptionally tight to the pack for a secure carry and balance while climbing.
Arc’teryx Quintic 27 Backpack
Sized and featured for daylong backcountry ski and snowboard tours, the Quintic 27 delivers efficient, smart organization, versatile carry options, and low centre of gravity that rides comfortably on the uptrack and beautifully on the descent. Made from a high tenacity N420p-HT nylon 6,6 plain weave pack cloth, the rugged Quintic has a teardrop shape that sits low and stable for excellent balance. The design wraps the body, transferring weight around the hips for an amazingly comfortable carry, even fully loaded. The lean contoured back panel keeps the load close to the body for a more stable ride, and a polyethylene framesheet and horizontal acetal rod also help bear the load and direct the weight while allowing flexibility and freedom of movement. Shoulder straps mold to the body, and a lightweight webbing belt helps minimize sway. Skis can be carried diagonally across the back or A-framed on the sides, snowboards ride vertically. The lash straps are designed to easily pull the skis exceptionally tight to the pack for a secure carry and balance while climbing.
Armada JJ 2.0
The Armada JJ 2.0 is one of the most popular big mountain and freeride skis on the market. The JJ 2.0 now has a longer turning radius with the widest points moved out for more stability and effective edge. Armada’s patented 5-dimensional sidecut and EST Freeride Rocker makes the JJ one of the most nimble and versatile powder skis on the market. Built with more gradual taper than the original, the new Armada JJ has better flotation at slower speeds and better control in steep terrain.
Based on the excellent Armada TST, the Kufo is a new touring-focused ski designed to be awesome downhill with improved uphill properties rather than a full-on touring platform. To help with the up, there’s an extra-light core and a squared-off tail to keep your skins in place. For the down, the EST All Mountain Rocker and tight radius results in a surfy, playful ride that is ideal for tree skiing but more than capable in the big mountains. Armada Kufo could be an ideal one-ski quiver for less freestyle-inclined adventuring.
Armada KUFO 103
The KUFO series is designed to get outside the boundaries of the everyday, behind the ropes, and beyond the average resort lines. Unyielding in uphill execution and uncompromising in downhill performance, the KUFO 103 makes you efficient on the way up and lets you rip on the way down. The Tour Ultra-Lite core provides a 16% weight reduction, but with Carbon Kevlar Struts and a Carbon Fiber Layup the ski remains stable in the most intense conditions. The narrower 103 is designed to crush climbs and destroy downhills, tell your friends to Keep Up…
Armada KUFO 108
Exist beyond the boundaries with the KUFO Series by Armada. Unyielding in uphill execution and uncompromising in downhill performance, the 16/17 KUFO Series makes you efficient on the way up to let you rip on the way down.
You got to get up to get down – do both with the Kufo 108 ski. With tip AR Nose Rocker that floats, a wider waist that’s stable, a Tour Ultra-Lite Core that is light, and a flat tail for all skin attachments, this is the ideal touring ski for backcountry charging. Built for aggressive turns, this is the bigger, burlier incarnation of the KUFO 103.
Armada TST W
The most versatile ski in Armada s women’s line, the TSTw performs just as well on hard-packed corduroy as it does in fresh pow. The 100 mm waist width and EST All Mtn Rocker allow the ski to easily initiate a turn, while the positive camber underfoot offers excellent edgehold and stability. Additionally, the rockered tip provides plenty of flotation on those awesomely deep storm days. Due to the lightweight core, the TSTw also makes for a great resort-backcountry hybrid ski when paired with a touring binding. If you often find yourself in search of uncompromising skis that truly do it all, the Armada TSTw Skis are for you.
